Bloomfield play area in Bath has new play equipment suitable for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.

The new modern play unit, set in a larger sand pit than previously, was chosen by members of the public at a drop-in public consultation session at the site in September.

The park has been improved as part of Bath and North East Somerset Council’s £115,000 investment in play facilities across the area this year (2015/16).

Cllr Martin Veal (Conservative, Bathavon North), the Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “Our play park facilities are well-used and enjoyed by children of all ages.  This new equipment has been carefully selected with the families who use the park, to ensure users can continue having fun, safely.”
