Bath and North East Somerset Council has restored the aerial walkway in the Great Dell, which is situated at the northern end of the park next to the Botanic Gardens.

This has helped restore the original route around the Dell, an exciting collection of unusual and specimen trees, and provides a series of breath-taking viewpoints amongst the trees and across the Park.

Unfortunately the walkway is not yet fully accessibility to wheelchair users. An independent accessibility survey was conducted in 2015, and the structure was designed and built to be compatible with a future, fully accessible, route.

For the time being, the walkway can only be accessed via a short flight of three steps but there are two benches at the top to stop and enjoy the view.
