Strategically located, the West of England is served by the M4 and M5 motorways and by extensive rail links.  Bristol Airport is one of the fastest growing regional airports in the UK and offers access to 144 destinations in 28 countries; the airport currently handles 6million passengers each year with plans to increase that to 9million by 2015, and up to 12million by 2030.

The Port of Bristol is recognised as being one of the most productive and technically advanced in Europe.  It is also one of the most economical port distribution locations in the UK, reaching some 42million people within a 250km radius; and the port is set to expand considerably with the construction of a deep sea container terminal.  This £500m development is likely to result in the creation of over 1,200 new jobs.

This national and international access adds to the area's attractiveness as a thriving and ambitious location.
