Coaches play a key role in our economy, with coach visitors spending up to £180K in the city every day. While this brings many benefits, we also need to be mindful of the negative impacts of coaches on residents, businesses and the historic city centre.
We’ve therefore set out proposals that aim to improve how we manage tourist and leisure coach travel within Bath that take account of research; evidence and feedback from stakeholders that have good insight into the issues in Bath alongside the views and feedback received from our public engagement exercise.
