There are lots of ways for you to get involved in your local community; either through setting up a community group or event  in your area or taking part in the groups, events and activities that are already operating in your area.

We have advice for all you need to know when planning a community event and our Stronger Communities Team can also offer help and support when setting up such events and groups.

The Stronger Communities Team can also provide information on groups and activities already operating in your area and advice and support to your voluntary and community groups on matters such as funding, event planning, local information and training and events.
