Your kitchen may be suitable for the food activity you are undertaking it depends on the foods that you are preparing and the how much food you are producing. Domestic kitchens are not designed for commercial use and so might need some alteration to comply with food safety laws.

Cheese cakes and cakes containing cream should be refrigerated at 8oc or below. Raw eggs should not be used in any foods that will not be thoroughly cooked

If you provide food for dinner parties and private functions the diary section of the Safer Food Better Business Pack can be used to keep a record of the numbers of people who attended and what food was served.
