Scooter Santa Bling Party – 7th December 2012 (4-6 pm)

The Play Team are again inviting all young scooter riders to join us for some ‘scooter blinging’ fun on Friday 7th December from 4-6p.m at the Sports Centre in Midsomer Norton.  Jim Imeson the Council’s Cycling Development Officer will be joined by expert scooter riders form the MOJO Scooter team who will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on keeping your scooter in tip-top condition.

Once ‘blinged’ the decorated scooters will all be judged - weather permitting in the nearby skate park - for age category prizes. Following the party-fun riders are invited to join in a procession on their scooters to the High Street to join forces with the Midsomer Norton Town Council’s Nativity Fayre procession at 6.45 to arrive at the Hollies Gardens for the switching on of the Christmas lights.

Included in the price of £5 is party food plus a gift from Santa who will – in keeping with the wheels theme – be arriving on a special tricycle from the Wheels for All inclusive cycling scheme.

The booking form and flier is ready to download on the right hand side.
