Eating well is crucial to maintaining good health or to help you recover from an illness. Are you finding it hard to prepare or buy healthy and nutritious meals? This may be due to a physical disability or long term health condition, a learning disability, sight and/or hearing loss or because you are getting older.

There are various ways you can access healthy food either through lunch clubs or by a care worker helping you with food at home.

Yes. If you are finding it difficult to buy and prepare food then it may be part of your care and support plan to have someone cook for you.

There are a range of lunch clubs around Bath and North East Somerset. These are run by community groups and offer a chance to socialise as well as have a delicious and healthy meal.

Some people like to have meals delivered to their homes, others would rather eat out in company and some just need help with shopping.  Age UK Bath and North East Somerset will be happy to help and guide you to suitable options.
