Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footpath closure on that length of Footpath BA27/16 which extends from a point adjacent to the southern boundary of the property known as 55 Dunster Road, in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon the construction of foundations for new housing and will be operative from 24th September 2013 for a maximum period of 3 months. The footpath will only be restricted as and when signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.  This is anticipated to be for a period of 8 weeks.

A fenced path will be provided running east, south and then west, approximately
15 metres to the east of the original path line.

Dated:  5th September 2013
