Do not attempt to drive through flood waters. A third of flood-related deaths in the UK involve people drowning in their cars.
Who to contact about different types of flooding
|Blocked highway gullies and drains||Report highway flooding and blocked gullies or drains to the Council via Council Connect. Council Connect provide a specific online form to report highway flooding and blocked gullies. Please note the Council does not provide a sandbag service. Read more about our sandbag policy|

Internal property flooding
If you have been flooded, it's important the Council knows as we may need to carry out a formal investigation. If you or your community need to report a flooding incident that has led to property flooding please fill in a Property Flooding Report Form and email to the Drainage and Flooding team.
