A number of Trade Unions are taking part in industrial action across the country on Wednesday 30th November 2011. This national dispute relates to changes to pensions proposed by the Government.
The Council has plans in place to make sure that, as far as possible, services continue to operate. Priority is being given to essential services so that we can minimise the impact on our most vulnerable residents and to ensure that the health and safety of our communities is not compromised.
For information about community social services, contact Sirona Care and Health. Customer Care: 01225 831403 or email customercare@sirona-cic.org.uk or web www.sirona-cic.org.uk/industrialaction
Parents and pupils will have been contacted directly by their school where disruption is anticipated. More details about the status of schools see www.bathnes.gov.uk/schoolclosures.
