The Draft version of the Local Plan was placed on deposit for a six
week period in early 2002 and attracted over 4,000 representations from
around 1,600 organisations and individuals. The Council's response
to these representations were reported to the Council Executive on 9th
July 2003 and are due to be considered by Full Council on 17th July 2003.
Changes that arose out of the representations have been incorporated into the
Revised Deposit Local Plan which was published in October 2003.
Also included are recommendations arising from the Sustainable Development
Appraisal (SDA) of the Deposit Draft Plan and Council initiated changes
evolving from Government Guidance and new information etc. The
responses to the representations are available to view below.
