8.0          It was considered that Policies T.5 and T.6 should be combined to encourage greater use of cycling as a means of transport and ensuring the provision of associated facilities.  Reference to developer contributions should also be included. 

8.1          For Policy T.8 it was suggested that there needs to be a requirement for Green Travel Plans with applications for large-scale development. 

8.2          It was suggested that Policy T.16 should be strengthened and made more prescriptive.  As currently worded it states that 'Proposals … should have regard to…', and should be changed to ‘will not be permitted' or 'will be required to unless it meets the following criteria…’ 

8.3           Policy T.20 should be split as the first sentence is really a separate policy.  Also clause (i) appears to be contradictory, as additional parking spaces will inevitably increase car reliance.  The clause needs rephrasing or clarifying.
