PREFACE

The Bath & North East Somerset Local Plan Revised Deposit Draft was placed on deposit in October 2003 for public comment.  Around 3,000 representations were received on the document.  All duly made representations have been considered by the Council and responses have been made.

As a result of the consideration of the representations, a number of Pre-Inquiry changes are proposed to the Revised Deposit Draft Local Plan.  Other changes have arisen from new information, in order to correct errors or to provide clarification in the Local Plan.   These changes are scheduled in this document.   The changes have been formatted to show deleted text as crossed out thus: deletions and added text in bold thus: added text.  Each pre-inquiry change has a unique number beginning with PIC/...

These changes are being placed on deposit for a six week period and public comment is invited.

The schedule also includes a number of errata which generally correct minor textual or Proposals Map errors or update the Plan.  Comments are not invited on these errata.
