Advice on how to implement the PE and Sport Strategy for Young People – the national strategy that aims to improve the quality of PE, sport, teaching, coaching and learning.
Co-ordination locally of Step into Sport – a programme co-ordination by the Youth Sports Trust designed to train young people to be leaders and to volunteer in the community.
Co-ordination of Primary and Secondary PE Professional Development Opportunities with Bath Spa University and the University of Bath
Under the direction of the Partnership Managers, primary and secondary schools work together to enhance sports opportunities.
TOP Play and Top Games schemes provide flexible CPD to support new and established KS1 & 2 teachers wishing to extend knowledge, skills and understanding in PE and sport. The programmes provide an even more effective support tool for high quality PE and school sport opportunities. Training is free of charge and allows access to free resources for all teachers that attend.
