We are pleased to continue to provide training opportunities to enable your staff to meet National Minimum Standards.
We have been producing a weekly update of availability for our courses as well as information about new courses by email, this has been well received by providers and we will continue to send this information unless you tell you don’t wish to receive it. If you have not been receiving our weekly updates and would like to, please let us have an email address that we may use to contact you.
Please make sure that all staff in your area are made aware of how to access the Programme and given every opportunity to discuss the content with you.
We are committed to supporting the training needs of the independent and voluntary Social Care sector and recognise that funding may be scarce. As you will be aware, we no longer charge for attendance on any of our courses. However, this has led to an increase in last minute cancellations or non attendance on the day. We will therefore charge for late cancellations (i.e. 5 days or less before the course takes place) or non attendance on the day. If we are unable to fill the place, the training team will invoice your organisation £60.00 per person per day. ½ day courses will be charged at £30.00 per person per day. We will happily take substitutions if the named person is unable to attend but please notify us so that we can amend our delegate list. Our aim is to ensure that we make the best use of our funding.
