This page contains information about housing and support options for people with learning difficulties.
What is Supported Living
Housing with support is often called Supported Living or Independent Living. What both of these terms mean is that you have your own home and support is put in place to help you live independently. This could mean that you are supported for a few hours a week, everyday, overnight or 24 hours a day. The support is carefully planned to meet your needs to live independently.
What are my housing and support choices?
We have produced My Own Home: a guide to housing for people with learning difficulties to help you think about the different housing and support options available. The guide provides information about paying for supported living and who you need to contact to find out more.
