Recycling Centres

The Council provides three Recycling Centres for the recycling and disposal of bulky items of household waste.

These sites are for private household use only and should not be used for business purposes.

Opening Times

From 31 March 2012 weekend opening times have changed. All Recycling Centres open at 9am instead of 8am on Saturday and Sunday.

See summer opening times in the table below:

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.15pm
Weekends 9am - 3.45pm
Bank holidays 8am - 3.45pm

25th, 26th, 27th December, 1st January

2012 bank holiday opening times apply on:

Friday April 6

Monday April 9

Monday May 7

Monday June 4

Tuesday June 5

Monday August 27

To avoid long queues, please try to use the site during weekdays.  At weekends and bank holidays the sites are quieter before 10am and after 3pm.
