The Council encourages everyone in the district to travel in the greenest way possible. Road transport in Bath and North East Somerset contributes to nearly a quarter of the district's carbon emissions. By choosing transport methods other than driving you can help reduce this contribution to climate change as well the associated noise, air pollution and congestion.

There are other benefits to leaving the car at home too, including improving your health and fitness and, as petrol and diesel costs increase, you could also save money.
