Early Years Entitlement

All children in Bath & North East Somerset qualify for 15 hours of free early years entitlement funding in the term following their third birthday. In order to claim the full 15 hour entitlement, a child must attend 3 or more days. If a child only attends on 2 days, the entitlement is reduced to 12.5 hours for 38 weeks a year. You may claim a minimum of 2 and a half hours to a maximum of 10 hours per day, but your provider may stipulate a maximum daily amount that they claim for the entitlement.
