This handbook aims to give information and guidance on a range of different subjects that are particularly relevant to the parents and carers of children aged 11-18.
Being a teenager can be a very difficult time. It’s a time of changes, both physical and emotional and these changes can be confusing and challenging for parents and teenagers alike.
We hope that you find this handbook useful and that it will make your parenting a little less stressful, raise your awareness about where to go to for advice and make you feel more confident about your own parenting skills.
There is a list of national organisations at the back of this book.
