The Council’s Corporate Planning Process brings its key plans together in a clear hierarchy that shows the relationship between the long term future for the area, the vision for the Council and the mid-term plan of action; the plan for the Council's finances, all the way down to what each Council service plans to achieve in the next year.
► Sustainable Community Strategy
The Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) sits at the top of our strategies and influences all of our other work. It sets out what type of place Bath & North East Somerset should become by 2026 and sets out what we plan to deliver for all of the area.
► Corporate Plan 2008-2011
The Corporate Plan (PDF 367 kb) sets out the Council's objectives and targets. It also refers to its available resources and how they will be managed.
The Council's next Corporate Plan is being developed in line with our new vision and objectives and will be available later this year.
► Council Vision and Objectives
Bath & North East Somerset Council provides high quality services at one of the lowest costs per head of population in the country, while demonstrating continuing improvement. The Council has developed an overarching and ambitious refreshed vision.

The Service Delivery Programme is key to the delivery of the Corporate Plan and the Council’s objectives described in more detail in this document.
