In Bath and North East Somerset we have a long history of conducting large scale consultations with our residents.
Prior to May 2006 we conducted what are known as ‘citizen’s panels’ surveys, where residents volunteered to respond to regular surveys. From Voicebox 11 onwards we have conducted ‘random probability sample’ surveys. These are sent to a random selection of approximately 3000 households.
In October 2007 we ran the first of our larger surveys; these allow us to break down results within Bath and North East Somerset, these larger surveys (repeated in Mar 09) are sent to 12,000 households.
