Priorities for 09/10
- Promote and facilitate children and young people’s involvement in the work of the Local Area Partnerships
- Develop structures to enable the younger children to make a difference to how services work for them now and in the future
- Work with children and young people to champion their priorities in the new Children and Young People’s Plan (to be published in 2010)
- Join up the work of the Participation Strategy Group with work in schools to promote pupil voice
And continue to
- Promote the Participation Strategy across the Children’s Service and partner agencies
- Build capacity amongst children, young people and practitioners to enable children and young people to make a difference to the services they receive
- Model, record and share good practice in participation across the area
