Keeping services going during the snow

As this week comes to a close it seems hard to imagine that last Friday Bath and North East Somerset, like the rest of the country, was covered in snow as the ‘beast from the east’ struck.

Young people having their say

You can learn so much from young people and I had the privilege of listening to members of Bath’s Youth Parliament when they took over the council chamber on Tuesday.

Six candidates put their manifestos forward in the UK Youth Parliament elections and I heard some extremely passionate and well-argued speeches.

Having a hoot with Minerva’s Owls of Bath

Winning investment and securing income

Winning investment and securing income for the area have been very much on the agenda this week which ended with the welcome announcement of a £12.5 million

award for Bath.
