Bath and North East Somerset Council is required by law to review and assess air quality throughout the district.  The Council has a comprehensive set of monitors that provide data on air pollution.  Nitrogen dioxide from road traffic is the only pollutant that exceeds the Government’s National Air Quality Objectives as an annual average in Saltford.

As the objectives are exceeded, an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) has been declared and a draft Action Plan developed.  We need your feedback on the measures we are proposing to include in our Action Plan for Saltford.
