As a result of the Council and partners delivering the Local Area Agreement, the Partnership received £1.3m of Performance Reward Grant.
This was divided into two funds:
£1m for longer term ‘Main Fund’ investment to be used for projects that support the delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy by building capacity in the community
£300,000 of Small Grants aimed at local projects (with a maximum grant of £5,000 per project).
Project Outline Proposals were invited from 22nd July to 30th September 2011 during which 74 were received. These were placed on the website so that ideas could be shared informally.
These POPs were not assessed or scored but triggered invitations to our September workshop.
Cabinet has agreed to the proposal from the LSP Board that the Programme be moved forward to a bidding stage leading to the award of grants for specific projects.
We are now inviting applications to the Performance Reward Programme Main Fund.
