The existing contract for highways maintenance comes to an end on 30 September 2008. A joint procurement process with North Somerset Council is underway (as NSC's contract comes to an end in March 2009). Although both Councils will have separate contracts there is a benefit in sharing the work and costs of the procurement process. It is planned to present a report to the Executive Member during week commencing Mon 2 July 2008.
