The Council's redundant IT equipment must be disposed of without compromising security and in an environmentally safe way.  Linear Way Industries, which until now has provided this service, has been restructured to focus on providing only the Council's Print Service.  The IT equipment disposal service must therefore transfer to another more appropriate area.

West of England Waste Management & Planning Strategy
Each of the four councils (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire) has resolved to enter into a partnering arrangement with the others to develop a joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy and a Joint Waste Development Plan Document.  The Executive is asked to approve, adopt or endorse the Background papers in order for the development of both projects to progress.
