How is the Council helping to change lives?

Our first-class fostering services ensure every child who is not able to live with their parents is given a loving home with trained foster carers. Find out more.

The number of families using Children Centre Services has continued to grow over the last year to 2,939. Find out more.

Last year, our Mentoring Plus programme helped over 60 young people at risk of exclusion or offending to find new job or learning opportunities. Find out more.

The Council's Youth Service provided skills training and awards to 1,268 young people last year, which improved their chances of getting a good job. Find out more.

Last year, the Council helped 117 young people who were not in education, employment or training to take up a trade or get on a new course. Find out more.
