How is the Council helping to change lives?

Last year we funded organisations that helped over 1,500 victims of crime to cope with their experience, including giving evidence in court. Find out more

We're funding services that advise and help over 300 adults and children at risk from domestic abuse. Find out more.

We provide a taxi marshal service that prevents trouble occurring at night, relieving the strain on police and NHS services. Each week on average they help 3,365 people get home safely. Find out more

We're operating a mobile phone registration service for students to prevent crime and keep students safe. So far 600 phones have been registered. Find out more
