met on Wednesday 1st September. The Minutes were published in Weekly
List 2004/36A.
The Council Executive will
next meet on Wednesday 6th October. The Agenda will be published 7 days before
the meeting and may be viewed in due course on the Council's
website.
CALLED IN DECISIONS

These are decisions which
are the subject of a call-in by 10 members. If the call-in is
validated under the rules within the Constitution, the implementation of
the decision cannot proceed. The decision will be examined through
the overview and scrutiny process and a recommendation made back to the
decision maker. The response of the decision maker (the Executive
Councillor or the Council Executive, whichever is relevant) will be
recorded in a subsequent Weekly List. Once made, this decision will
not be eligible for a further call-in. |

The call-in
has been validated as complying with the Council’s constitution. The
call-in was considered by the appropriate Overview & Scrutiny Panel at a
meeting on Wed 22nd September at which the Call-in was dismissed. The
effect of this is that the original decision can be immediately implemented.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 30th Sept and are anticipated to last for 2 weeks.
During this period it will be necessary to close temporarily to vehicles that
length of St James’s Park and Portland Place, Bath which extends from its
junction with Park Street Mews in an easterly direction for a distance of about
300 metres.
Drainage and resurfacing works are planned on or near the road from
27th Sept and are anticipated to last for 2 weeks. During this period it
will be necessary to close the road temporarily to vehicles from its junction
with Langridge Lane in a northerly direction for a distance of 300 metres.
Water main relining works are planned on or near the road from 27th
Sept and are anticipated to last for 3 weeks. During this period it will
be necessary to close the road temporarily to vehicles.
Wessex Water service works are planned on or near the road from 27th
Sept and are anticipated to last for 1 day. During this period it will be
necessary to close the road temporarily to vehicles from its junction with
Hollies Lane to its junction with Oakford Lane.
Major road reconstruction works are planned on or near the road from
28th Sept and are anticipated to last for 5 weeks. During this period it
will be necessary to close the road temporarily to vehicles from its junction
with A36 Sydney Place to its junction with Daniel Mews.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close the road temporarily to
vehicles a point outside no 1 Foundry Cottages to a point outside “Elfreda”.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close the road temporarily to
vehicles from a point 175 metres east of its junction with A39 Wells Road to its
junction with Downsway. Weight restrictions will be temporarily suspended on the
alternative route.
Mains rehabilitation and carriageway pavement reconstruction and
surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 30th Sept and are
anticipated to last for 2 weeks. During this period it will be necessary
to close the road temporarily to vehicles from its junction with Camden Road to
its junction with Snow Hill.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close the road temporarily to
vehicles from its junction with Downsway to a point 340 metres north of its
junction with Paulton Road and Ruett Lane.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close The Avenue from its junction
with North Road to Church Hill; and Church Hill from The Avenue to its junction
with South Road.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close the road from its junction with
the lane by Church Farm in a southerly direction for a distance of 275 metres.
Major road reconstruction works are planned on or near the road from
28th Sept and are anticipated to last for 5 weeks. During this period it
will be necessary to close the road from its junction with A36 Sydney Place to
its junction with Edward Street.
Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on
or near the road from 1st October and are anticipated to last for 3 months.
During this period it will be necessary to close the road from junction with
Bonhill Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 460 metres.
