CALLED IN DECISIONS

These are decisions which are the subject of a call-in by 10 members.  If the call-in is validated under the rules within the Constitution, the implementation of the decision cannot proceed.  The decision will be examined through the overview and scrutiny process and a recommendation made back to the decision maker.  The response of the decision maker (the Executive Councillor or the Council Executive, whichever is relevant) will be recorded in a subsequent Weekly List.  Once made, this decision will not be eligible for a further call-in.

E561 Disability Access to Corporate Properties

Cllr Colin Darracott (Ref Weekly List 2004/33)

The call-in has been validated as complying with the Council’s constitution.  The call-in was considered by the appropriate Overview & Scrutiny Panel at a meeting on Wed 22nd September at which the Call-in was dismissed.  The effect of this is that the original decision can be immediately implemented.
