What do we mean by:

Older persons housing, sometimes called Sheltered Housing?

Older persons housing is for people age 60 or over and consists of flats and bungalows.  Each flat or bungalow has its own front door, bathroom and kitchen. Some of the flats are in a scheme that also has communal areas for residents to socialise.  Some of the schemes accept people over 55 and people who need this type of housing because they have a disability.

Studio flat?

A studio flat has its own front door, bathroom and kitchen but has only one room for living and sleeping.
