Disabled People - Home Adaptations and Aids

Community Equipment Service Who are we?

We are a service which loans equipment, such as commodes and walking frames, to more specialist items such as mattresses to help prevent pressure sores and electric beds, to people in their own homes who have a temporary or permanent illness or disability.  The equipment helps the person to maintain and increase their independence, and/or enables them to be cared for, and improves their quality of life.

What we do:
  • Purchase equipment
  • Transport equipment to a persons home
  • Fit the equipment if appropriate
  • Repair the equipment if necessary
  • Collect the equipment when it is no longer required
  • Clean the equipment
How do you access our services?
