Implementing Electronic Government in
Bath & North East Somerset

This is the third Implementing Electronic Government statement (IEG3) that we have produced, and it takes the form of an analysis of progress against IEG1 and IEG2, as well as focusing on key developments required for successful e-government.

This document has been subject to extensive consultation within the Council and with our partners and has been endorsed by our Council Executive. The Council is committed to delivering e-government in the Bath & North East Somerset area. We will ensure that, together with our partners, we achieve the maximum benefit and opportunities for people who live, work and visit here. In August 2003, the Council signed a strategic partnership agreement with HBS, and this partnership will play a key role in delivering improved services to all of our customers.
