Plasterboard Recycling

Image of plasterboard logo

You can now recycle plasterboard at your local Recycling Centre.   The council has installed containers at each of the three sites for plaster, plasterboard and gypsum materials.

Please take care to remove as much studwork (nails, screws), tiles and other building materials from the plasterboard as possible before placing in the containers.

The plasterboard is collected by a specialist contractor and recycled into back into raw gypsum powder to be used once again.
