Bath & North East Somerset Council - Garden Waste - staggered charges

Garden Waste - staggered charges

The charges for collection of garden waste is now carried out through an annualised billing system. This change was made in order to ensure that all users are billed at the same time each year.

The annual repayment period covers the 1st June to the 31st May each year.

The table below shows the subscription amounts for each month of the year bringing new users into line with exisiting users for annualised billing.  The £2.70 delivery charge still applies so the total payable is also shown against each month.

FAQ's

What happens if I haven’t paid for my garden waste wheelie bin collection service?

If you have not paid for your annual Garden Waste Collection Service you will be left a red hanger on your wheelie bin by the collection crews. Your bin will not be emptied, contact details and information on how you can pay for the collection service will be on the enforcement hanger. To pay for the service you will need to call Council Connect, 01225 394041 and inform them you have been left a red enforcement on your wheelie bin at your address. Once payment has been received you will be sent a pink sticker as proof of payment to the collection crews. This sticker will validate collections until 31 May 2013.

What happens if I do not receive my sticker?

If you have paid for your sticker and have not received it within 2 weeks of payment date please phone Council Connect, 01225 394041 to report this. They will be able to issue you with a new sticker; you may need to demonstrate proof of purchase.
