The £2.3 million project will replace poor condition temporary buildings and provide a new assembly hall, reception classrooms, and nursery, as well as relocated administration facilities. The steel frame is now complete and constructors are preparing the commencement of external walls and roofing construction. Completion estimate: by autumn 2011.
Head Teacher Damian Knollys said, “All the pupils and teachers are really looking forward to using new classrooms and hall and cannot wait for them to be completed. These improvements will support our teaching staff to continue to provide high standards of education.”
