Acquisition of Land for Provision of On-site Playing Field at Oldfield Park Junior School, Lymore Avenue, Bath
The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families has now confirmed the Compulsory Purchase Order for an area of land comprising 0.4184 hectares to the east of Oldfield Park Junior School at Lymore Terrace, Oldfield Park, Bath. The land currently comprises six partially uncultivated, privately owned smallholdings. The Compulsory Purchase Order will authorise Bath and North East Somerset Council to purchase compulsorily the land described above for the provision of a playing field for the benefit of Oldfield Park Junior School.
All relevant parties have now been informed and a copy of the Notice below will be published in the Bath Chronicle on Thursday 19th August.
