Cycle Parking

A secure, convenient place to leave your bike is important, whether you are going to work, popping into the shops, or visiting a rural village. Bath & North East Somerset Council have installed cycle stands in many locations, and if you know a location where a stand would be useful, please email transportation@bathnes.gov.uk.

Free Cycle Stands

Voluntary sector groups, schools, small businesses, parish councils, churches and surgeries can get free cycle parking stands under the Take a Stand scheme. This scheme is run by Life Cycle UK and supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council.

Two stands - that's parking for four bikes - are available per applicant. The applicant must install the stands on their own property. To apply for your free stands, click on the link (under related documents on the right) to download an application form.
