A secure, convenient place to leave your bike is important,
whether you are going to work, popping into the shops, or visiting
a rural village. Bath & North East Somerset Council have
installed cycle stands in many locations, and if you know a
location where a stand would be useful, please email transportation@bathnes.gov.uk.
Free Cycle Stands
Voluntary sector groups, schools, small businesses, parish
councils, churches and surgeries can get free cycle parking stands
under the Take a Stand scheme. This scheme is run by Life Cycle UK
and supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council.
Two stands - that's parking for four bikes - are available per
applicant. The applicant must install the stands on their own
