Adopted Road Records

To find out if a road is adopted you will need to view the adopted roads records.

Public Inspection - The record is open for public inspection free of charge at Trimbridge House in Bath. Contact our Land Charges team on 01225 477156 for details of how to request an inspection.

Extracts via Post or Email - extracts from the record may be ordered by post from the Systems & GIS Team. Where this is for a local search or other commercial enquiry there will be a charge for this service. Maintenance of Adopted Roads

Once the Council adopts a road it is responsible for the maintenance including gully emptying. To report a defect or to enquire about road maintenance please contact our Council Connect on 01225 394041.
