Canals and Waterways

Rivers and Waterways

Bath & North East Somerset is home to miles of drains, watercourses, rivers and canals.

Some are maintained by the Council and others are maintained and managed by a variety of public and private sector bodies.

The Environment Agency is one of the major navigation authorities in charge of inland rivers, estuaries and harbours in England and Wales.
