New Passes for Diamond Travelcard Holders
New passes extending the entitlement to free off-peak bus travel
to cover the whole of England have been issued by Fujitsu, as part
of a national government contract, to 33,000 Diamond Travelcard
holders in Bath and North East Somerset.
This is part of a national reissue of over five million bus
passes which entitle holders to travel free on local buses across
England from 1 April. Diamond Travelcards are available to all of
Bath and North East Somerset’s residents aged over 60 and certain
disabled persons.
If any passes have incorrect personal information, they will be
replaced but, in the meantime, if you wish to travel outside the
local area, the Council will issue a temporary national pass to be
used with the current pass. Please contact Council Connect on
01225 394041 to obtain one.
