CARRIAGEWAY SURFACE DRESSING PROGRAMME 2008

The Carriageway Surface Dressing Programme 2008 commenced on the 2nd June at 10 sites within Bath and North East Somerset. The Works comprise of the design, the laying of approximately 80,000 square metres of surface dressing and reinstatement of road markings at the following sites:

• A368 Ubley West
• A368 Ubley East
• A368 Compton Martin East
• A368 West Harptree West
• A368 West Harptree to Bishop Sutton
• A368 Bishop Sutton East
• A368 Knighton Sutton Farm to Chelwood Roundabout
• B3114 Bickfield to Kingshill Lane
• B3114 Nunnery Copse to Stoke Villice
• A39 Bences Garage to Old Inn, Farmborough

The works are being carried out during restricted hours Monday to Saturday (0900 to 1700 hours), and local ward members and the executive member have been advised of the exact start date for these works as soon as this has been agreed with the Contractor. These works are of short duration and will involve lane closures.
