Pay and Display machines in certain car parks in Bath have been replaced with new METRIC ACCENT machines which will accept payments with Credit Cards.

Motorists will no longer have to have coins to pay for their parking if they use the Credit Card facilities, but payment with coins will still be possible on the new machines.

New information boards have been provided at each new machine.

Purpose

The work is part of the Council's plan to improve the Parking Service and reduce incidence of crime by obviating the need to carry cash.
