Bath & North East Somerset Council would like to remind all
residents that their rubbish, recycling, cardboard and garden waste
collections will take place as usual on the forthcoming August Bank
Holiday Monday (25 August 2008).
Therefore, if your collection day is a Monday we will still
collect as normal on the August Bank Holiday. Please leave your
recycling and waste out for collection early on this day.
The only changes to Bank Holiday collection days take place over
the Christmas/New Year period when we publish in advance the
revised collection dates for each of these services.
Our three Recycling Centres at Bath, Keynsham and Old Welton
will be open on August Bank Holiday from 8am – 3.45pm. They are
likely to be busy so please make sure you separate your waste when
you load it, to save you time when you’re there.
