A dotted beefly

A guided walk is taking place on Sunday 13 April at Carrs Woodland Local Nature Reserve, Twerton, Bath.

This will be a Sunday afternoon springtime stroll with a wildlife expert, looking out particularly for unusual insects including the rare Dotted Beefly which inhabits the reserve.

Meet at Walwyn Close, Twerton at 2pm. Free of charge. Please be aware that there are unsurfaced paths and some slopes. Children are welcome but if under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

The guided walk is jointly being organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council and the Carrs Woodland Forum and is being led by Mike Williams, a committee member of the Carrs Woodland Forum. The Forum is a community group set up and supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council and is open to anyone who is interested in Carrs Woodland Local Nature Reserve.
