Proposed industrial action in schools

A number of schools are expected to be fully or partially closed if the proposed industrial action by teachers goes ahead this Thursday (24 April).

Parents and guardians who have questions about the proposed closures are asked to contact the schools directly.

Full closures

Primary schools

Chew Magna Primary School; High Littleton Church of England Primary School, and St John's Church of England Primary School, Midsomer Norton, Southdown Junior School, Bath.

Secondary schools:

Broadlands School, Keynsham, and Culverhay School, Bath.

           

Partial closures

Primary schools:

Clutton Primary School

Moorlands Infant

Oldfield Park Junior

St Keyna Primary School

St Martin's Garden Primary School

St Nicholas’ Church of England Primary School

St Philip’s Church of England Primary School

Twerton Infant  School

Secondary schools:

Beechen Cliff (Boys) School, Bath - Yrs 7 & 8 closed

Chew Valley School, - Yrs 7-10 closed.  Years 11, 12 and 13 open

Hayesfield School, Bath - Yrs 7-9 closed.

Norton Hill School, Midsomer Norton -Yr 8 (50%) & Yr 10 closed

Somervale School, Midsomer Norton - Yrs 7-11 closed.  Yrs 12 & 13 open.

St Mark's Church of England School, Bath  - Yrs 7-10 closed, Year 11 open.

Wellsway, Keynsham - Yrs 7-10 closed, Yr 11 in from 10.45am, Yrs12-13 open.
