The Fair Trade event will start at 8:00am in the Banqueting
Hall, Guildhall, Bath with short informal speeches from both Cllr
Paul Crossley and Rebecca Davies (co-ordinator of the Bath
Fairtrade Network) to formally launch the recently published Bath
Fairtrade Directory (sponsored by Bath & North East Somerset
Council).
A Fairtrade breakfast provided by the Co-op, will be served,
buffet-style. Invited guests can network over breakfast and have a
look at the stalls that will be set up around the room. Cllr
Phyllis Gay will also be in attendance.
There will be between 8 and 12 stalls, mainly local fairtrade
suppliers and the Bath Fairtrade Network itself.
The event is scheduled to end at 9:00 am.
Invited guests will include: local businesses (both Fairtrade
and non-Fairtrade) and councillors.
