The science of Roman Bathing

Roman Baths

A SERIES of special family tours designed for children to learn about the science of Roman bathing will take place at the Roman Baths throughout March to mark National Science Week 2005.

The tours – organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council – take place on Saturday, March 12, Sunday, March 13, Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 at hourly intervals from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

At the start of each tour families will be given a bag of objects relating to different areas of the Roman Baths complex and as they travel round the site with they will be asked to pull out the object that relates to that particular area.

The tours are free once you are in the site. Entry to the Roman Baths is free to residents of Bath & North East Somerset.
